Enjoying the Ride

It’s been awhile since my last blog, only because this summer has turned into one crazy ride!

On June 25^th, I participated in the Relay for Life walk for the American Cancer Society. As a cancer survivor, I was honored and privileged to take part in this amazing opportunity to show support and give back to this wonderful organization. They helped me better understand this disease and gave me a refuge while going through this dramatic period in my life.

As an artist, I now have the opportunity to give back, by donating a portion of proceeds from my upcoming show at Limestone Coffee & Tea in Batavia to the American Cancer Society.

I am currently preparing for my gallery debut at Limestone. I’ve been busy carefully selecting and framing all the photos that will be highlighted throughout the month of August. Thanks to all my mentors for helping me with supplies, and a special thank you to my PR gal at Lotus Blu Media, who has been busy promoting the hell out of me!

And I’m happy to announce that my show will continue on in the month of September, this time in beautiful Galena, Illinois. Jamie Carrol of Jamie’s Wine Bar is graciously hosting a showing of my work, with a special meet-n-greet on September 18^th. If you happen to be in town that weekend, stop by!
